Andrew "Slipper" Brown grew up in a music-loving family where he learned to appreciate many different genres of music, and also learned to play drums. From an early age, Andrew was fascinated with all things sound, from scratching his dads' records to constantly adjusting the EQ of his Marantz receiver. A busy entrepreneurial spirit lead him to organize concerts at the age of 17, taking on the role of promotor, sound tech, and ticket taker, all so his band could play alongside some of his favorite acts at the time.
In 2006 Andrew Graduated from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology at the top of his class. He carried on taking on any freelance production rolls he could. Loading and unloading trucks, finding his way into the corporate AV world where he learned more about lighting and video production. From there he began working on bigger events, which lead to hitching a ride on the bis of Big Sugar on their 2010 come-back tour. Andrew's first role on tour was selling merch, his first major introduction into the business side of touring. From there he ended up doing lights on Big Sugars' next tour and eventually taking over as TM/FOH.
Fast forward through many North American and European tours, obtaining the nickname "Slipper," a stint as production manager for the Ruby Princess Cruise ship, to 2020 and a global Pandemic. Leaving many entertainment workers left wondering what to do, Andrew continued to further his education. To formalize years of touring skills built up, Andrew took on a Project Management course at Sheridan College. Always a work in progress, Andrew continues to grow his business, communications, and technical skill set to offer his clients the high level of services they've grown to expect from him.
